According to Ben Woolverton (long time resident of Maple Lane, Creekwood) there are 5 homes on Maple Lane that have natural Gas. This was put in by the original developer for the lots on Maple Lane. According to Ben the gas line starts at FM 3062 and runs down the North alley way of Maple Lane (on the south side of the alley way – closest to the 4 homes on Maple Lane). It goes to Briarwood, turns south and returns to FM 3062 on the South alley way of Maple Lane (on the north side of the alleyway.)
There was a Lone Star Gas officer that had his lake home in Star Harbor and insisted that he could not live there if Lone Star Gas did not serve the city.
Lone Star Gas (now Atmos Energy) does not know the location, but you can see the gas meters for all 5 homes on Maple. This means that Oak Tree Ranch Estates Tracts 5 thru 10 should have natural gas service.
